ok im gonna kp this entry really short and swt.to peeps who play team sports out there, here's my thoughts of it.well was on my way hm today and i started thinking bout the polo matches i've played and i came up with this conclusion:

1.the no. of goals u score-shows how skillful a player one is
2.the no. of assists one make-reveals how much one trusts his team
3.the no. of block shots goes to show how much heart u have

things like that really make me ponder and realize how much of an individualist i've been and i guess its time mr. solo a.k.a larger-than-life has changed.someone asked me this a few mths ago....'what kinda player dya wanna turn out to be? life since 3 weeks ago was kinda fucked up but with a lil' twist of fate,u will be surprised at how diff things can turn out to be.polo trng has resumed and im really looking forward to claim back-to-back titles :)

just yesterday,I was scratching my head over what to blog about till the great....or should i say not-so-great zan gave my an 'interesting' topic-Girls. Let's just say they are really unpredictable and complex creatures.u never know wad's on their minds (this applies to gurpreet singh, a potentially dangerous terrorist currently in ACJC-a.k.a G DADDY).'Anyway what i'm about to say isn't applied to all chicks but the MAJORITY of 'em.haha.

'Is my hair nice?' now that's a really common question and how are we guys suppose to anwer it? Now let me tell u this : There is no answer to this question that won't be interpreted "yes". "No" means yes. "Yes" means yes. "I don't know" means yes. "It doesn't matter" means yes. The briefest hint of a pause before speaking means yes(x1000). Most of us would rather take our degrees again than field this one, yet it may well come up several times a week. Your only real choice is to say no, clearly and immediately, leaving no possibility for any subtext, and making it sound like a widely acknowledged fact and not simply your opinion. lol.

let me suggest a few courses they might wanna sign up for:

Beware the NJ Spirit

Breaking news! The NJ Spirit has captured the hearts of thousands of hopeful potential academics. Experts worldwide puzzling over this strange phenomenon are attributing it to a series of inexplicably hypnotic events which took place yesterday in the NJC campus. It is suspected that the phantom was invoked by these annual rites performed by the already-possessed residential students.

The epochal day started with a seemingly innocuous introduction to the new A-level syllabus, aptly conducted at NJC’s center of activity – The Library. From 1000hrs to 1500 hrs, the victims received counsel on choosing their H1s, H2s and H3s, all the while oblivious to the fate that awaits them thereafter.

At 1130hrs to 1200hrs and 1330hrs to 1400hrs, in LT5, the initiates-to-be were introduced to the great leader of this conclave. Mrs. Virginia Cheng, Principal of NJC, allayed all their doubts and slaked their curiosity about the school while relating the euphoria of experiencing the NJ spirit. The prospecting students could hardly resist this barrage of tantalizing overtures offered by the institution.

Their resolve was further tested when the Art department, following up on the success of Mrs. Cheng, showcased their bountiful talents. A king’s hoard of adroitly crafted artifacts were utilized in an exhibition to lure in the unsuspecting. It was indeed impossible for these helplessly gaping thralls to pass on the offer to join the elite corps of the Art Elective Programme.

The last straw came at the lucky dip, held directly after the lambs’ visual assailing by the mesmerizing aesthetic display. The material bounty earned by the winners are but icing on the metaphorical cake of rewards that they can expect from the NJC brand of education.

Groups of devotees sashayed and flaunted their curves (and curved swords) in an effort to inspire unmitigated loyalty in the awed audience, while others employed the titillating sound of musical seduction. From 1030hrs to 1115hrs at the Linkway, the congregation was entranced by an explosion of entertainment by the Western Dancers, Harmonica Society, Angklung Group, Guitar Ensemble, Chinese Orchestra and Malay Dancers. Again at 1215hrs till 1315hrs, they were mercilessly bewitched by the captivating performances put up by the Indian Dancers, String Orchestra, Wushu Troupe, Guzheng Ensemble, Choir Sirens, Chinese Dancers and Symphonic Band.

Throughout all these happenings, the Hall was host to a nest of bustling activities as neophytes were enticed into being contracted to the myriad Co-Curricular Activities available.

In the aftermath of this supernatural occurrence, the outwardly-nonchalant attendees have all been infused with an aspiration to be part of this great family. Researchers estimate this covert seed planted in them yesterday to re-emerge with full force in the year 2006 in the next initiation rites where they will be further schooled in the ways of Service with Honour, Scholarship with Creativity, Leadership with Sensitivity, and Loyalty with Integrity.

haven't blogged for eons but due to the overwhelming demand from u fruits, here it is:

life in ac isnt as exactly as happening as what some of u peeps deem it to be.promos're drawing near and i haven't been mugging as hard as i should be, how to WAX the papers like that? i guess the only(maybe two) positive i can take out of this week's the mere fact that Gilberto's penning a new deal which will kp him at highburyl till 2009 which really proves the saying that 'every cloud has a SILVA lining' hurhur...and talkin to 'u' over late nights has definitely made my day.

have been doing alot of reaing on this theory by siegmund freud which is required for my E4. It essentially talks about the man's psyche being separated into 3 sections-the id,the ego and the superego in which the id trys to find its way back into the concious mind which then manifests itself in the from of dreams, perverted behavior etc. This would latr lead to repression which exists in the form of mutism-conflict between WANTING to say something, and knowing that if DO say it the consequences would be disastrous so pp actually come up with various coping mechanisms (like what prak does during lessons.nat's strange fetish fr moms etc) BEWARE.

tips on survivng exams

you mobiles have been haranguing us for an update so here you go. i thought of something that we could all relate to. what is the one thing that is on all of your minds right now ? PROMOS!

so Here are tips on surving the exams.

- study alone or in a group with friends who are serious about studying.(HAHAHAH...friends who are serious?)
-go over many diferent problems from past exam papers. understand the principles; it's not necessary to work out the details, if you wish to cover more ground.
-make up a sheet of principles for the subject
-get enough sleep( 6 to 7.5 hours) daily, especially the night before an examination paper, and exercise lightly.(aren't we all online on msn the night before the exam?)
-to relieve stress, try this relaxation response exercise, once or twice a day:
(brace yourself for much laughter!)
1. Find a quiet place and sit in a comfortable position (prak would know best)
2.relax your muscles. be aware of yuor breathing through the nose. (gee..we breathe through our nose? i have gills!)
3.inhale and pause for a few seconds. exhale and say the word "one" silently, again pausing for a few seconds. repeat for 15-20mins(GIVE ME A BREAK!)
4. continue to be aware of your breathing but sit queitly as the time comes to a close.
5. open your eyes slowly and get up gradually (i'd have snoozed off by then)

welcome to our blog! well this is ashish here blogging for duty. this is "simply" a shared blog between 3 people; brandon,myself and rueben gavin peter. the purpose of creating this blog is not quite known to either of us for this was set-up thanks to a certain someone's brilliant idea.NOT ME! here is some background information on the 3 of us. we were classmates back in sec 3 and sec4 ( ah the good days in 4.10) and now we have gone our different ways. ac,vj and rj.more should be revealed in time to come.
